3/27/2025:
Mount Spurr is going to erupt again soon. Our Summer 2025 Season is scheduled to start on Monday, May 12th. We need to start digging a week before that. Hopefully, the eruption happens soon so the disruption from the ashfall on the streets will be cleaned up enough by the Muni for Angelus to begin clean up operations on the gardens. Or that precipitation dampens and washes much of it away.
We are not an essential organization. Yes, we need to honor our loved ones’ passings, but we cannot strain emergency services to do so. In the less ideal circumstance that our burial schedule is impacted, we will work diligently to minimize the changes as much as possible. Our team has shown time and again the willingness and integrity to perform extensive overtime.
Nevertheless, we cannot control Mother Nature; we can only bend to her power. Angelus will work from home to keep continuous contacts with the families and funeral homes that are effected, if any. Please feel free to reach out for specific updates as your own situation and risk adversity demands.
09/03/2024:
We have officially opened a Facebook page for members who would like to be kept up to date with the happenings of the park. You can find us on Facebook under Angelus Memorial Park Cemetery
We will post announcements here for families that are interested in keeping up to date on the goings-on around the cemeteries.

Hello, all,
On behalf of our team, I am excited to announce we will be installing new indoor columbaria this Christmas. As some of you may know, the columbariums are a little crowded as is; we have to remove the current shelfing from the columbarium and replace it with niches. A lot of families have placed memorabilia such as fake flowers, trinkets, and cards. The staff at Angelus recognizes that some of these items are irreplaceable; because of this, we are letting you know in advance to come collect these items and making a “lost and found” in the meantime.
Thank you for your understanding.

Elections Results 2024
The terms of three seats ended this year and all three incumbents chose to run again. There were also two new nominees for those seats. The membership was asked to vote for three of the five candidates, though a typo on the instructions was confusing. Also, the printer was delayed in sending out the mailing. We apologize for anyone we have not yet spoken with.
We would like to welcome Patricia Kate White as the newest member of the Board. Congratulations!
